The InZero Secure PC changes the security paradigm by providing essentially "two computers in one:" a standard computing module and a secure "InZero Gateway" module. The InZero Gateway module is directly connected to the internet. It isolates and hosts potentially dangerous network applications, processes incoming and outgoing files and transfers files to and from the computing module, which is permanently offline. HELSINKI, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Apple ( AAPL - news - people ) overtook Nokia ( NOK - news - people ) in the third quarter as the cellphone maker generating the highest total operating profit in the industry, research firm Strategy Analytics said on Tuesday.

Apple, which entered the cellphone market only in mid-2007 with its iPhones, sold a record 7.4 million of them in the third quarter.

'With strong volumes, high wholesale prices and tight cost controls, the PC vendor has successfully broken into the mobile phone market in just two years,' said Alex Spektor, analyst at Strategy Analytics.

This is the only way Apple will ever have a significant marketshare. They are still not in the top 5 for laptop sales.

Windows 7 really is to blame on the sales increases. From personal experience it is a wonderful operating system and I recommend everyone upgrade. It will improve your performance even on old hardware.
The sun oracle merger is still being fought in the EU. The current issue is MySQL. “Owned” by SUN, it is an open-source database software. The software is most popular in web applications in conjunction with Apache web server on a Linux Server OS. Since MySQL is free (as in speech and beer), the EU fears that the project will lose support. MySQL is not usually used in enterprise applications like Oracle, but it is gaining a market share.
